The 1981 set of graduates from the St Augustine’s Seminary, Jos, gathered at Lux Terra Leadership Foundation, Abuja, on September 9, 2026, for a Eucharistic celebration to mark the 45th anniversary of their graduation from the seminary and ordination to the priesthood.
Among the classmates that gathered for the very private event were Archbishop Ignatius Kaigama of Abuja, Bishop William Avenya of Gboko, Fr George Ehusani of Lux Terra, Fr Peter Tanko of ABU Zaria, Fr Dennis Dayok of Pankshin, and Fr William Alumuku, Director of Communication, Archdiocese of Abuja. Other members of the class include Fr Joseph Abah of Idah, Fr David Aguh of Gboko, as well as Fr John Udoh and Fr Paul Nyong of Uyo. The gathering featured a private mass and a brief interaction with students of the Psycho-Spiritual Institute of Lux Terra Leadership Foundation
The visibility joyous classmates reminisced on their seminary days, and their diverse pastoral experiences and challenges over the last 45 years. After thanking God whose amazing grace has sustained them through these many years of priestly ministry, they prayed for the repose of their departed colleagues, and for the healing of those facing health challenges.
