As part of their Ad Limina Apostolorum Visit to Rome, the second group of members of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Nigeria today had an audience with the Holy Father. (14th of March, 2026)
The meeting was a grace-filled opportunity for the bishops to present reports on the pastoral life of their respective dioceses and to share in fraternal dialogue with the Successor of Saint Peter.
It was also a moment to formally present the newly elected President of the Conference, Most Rev. Matthew Man’Oso Ndagoso, Archbishop of Kaduna.
Like the first group, the bishops offered indigenous and symbolic gifts to His Holiness, simple but meaningful expressions of the deep communion that binds the Church in Nigeria with the Holy See.
